Hi everyone,

Today, we’re super excited to take the wraps off one of the biggest updates we’ve ever done. Welcome to the RecallMax…

Genius Mode

We’re constantly being asked, “what is the best way to work the RecallMax lists?” Well, we’ve removed all of the guesswork and our new Genius Mode will automatically apply the best options for our list filters that will help you do more in less time.

Work SMARTER not HARDER!
— Allen F. Morgenstern

Before we dive in, a few important things to remember…

1) Genius Mode has been applied for you automatically but will be easy to review and remove if desired.

2) Settings are saved between sessions.

3) We have not altered any filter settings that were applied to your lists previously.

Genius Mode revolves around the familiar Filters which are available on most RecallMax lists. Simply put, a Filter hides patients that aren’t immediately relevant to the task at hand.

Previously, to enable a filter, you would click the Filter button from a list….

…and then select from the available options in the dialogue box.

Once one or more options have been selected, and the Apply button pressed, the box closes and the Filter button is now orange indicating that a filter is on for that list.

That brings us back to the question, “what are the BEST options for a list?” That’s where the “Genius” part comes in to play!

With this latest update, Genius Mode has been automatically enabled which means that when looking at a list now, the Filter button will be already be orange indicating the the best filter settings have already been applied.

Let’s look at the Late 1-6 Month list as an example.

Here. you’ll notice that the Filter button is highlighted. This means Genius Mode has been enabled and settings applied to view only patients that should be currently contacted.

What are the parameters of the filters that have been applied? Click the Filter button and you can now see that the filter has hidden any patients that have been personally contacted in the last 60 days (1) and any patients that have been auto messaged in the last 3 days (2) which are the recommended settings for this list!

You’ll also notice the message Genius Mode is Enabled! (3)

What happens if you want to further customize the filter beyond the Genius Mode settings?

Here, we’ve selected an additional option outside of the default Genius Mode. We selected Hide Patients marked as Do Not Call/Message (DN) (1).

Selecting this additional option disables Genius Mode as it no longer exactly matches the suggested filter settings.

If you were to click Apply and click back into the Filter button, you would see that the Genius Mode is Enabled notice is gone and the Enable Genius Mode button is once again available (2).

Want to go back to the default Genius Mode settings?

Click the Enable Genius Mode button again and Apply….

….and the best settings for the list filter are now back on!

What if you want to completely remove the suggested filter? No problem.

Click the Disable Genius Mode button, press Apply and presto, the filters have been removed.

The Filter button on the list has now reverted back to plain gray indicating the list is no longer filtered.

Again please remember…

  • Genius Mode has been applied for you automatically but will be easy to review and remove if desired.

  • Settings are saved between sessions.

  • We have not altered any filter settings that were applied to your lists previously.

Now that we have the Genius Mode basics established, let’s look at how it works in other lists…

Confirmation Lists

Typically, our Confimation Lists - Reminder, One Week and Two Week lists display patients that have not yet confirmed and you can use these lists to call patients to confirm their upcoming appointments.

Now with Genius Mode automatically enabled, you’ll see when clicking into the Reminder List, that the Filter button is highlighted informing you that the Genius Mode has been applied and already set to help you work the list in the most efficient way.

Clicking the Filter button opens the Filter details and shows you that RecallMax has already hidden your confirmed appointments.

Hiding appointments that are already confirmed helps you focus on outstanding items.

So, hiding Confirmed appointments will be the default Genius Mode settings for your Reminder and One Week lists.

For the 2 Week Confirmation list, the Genius Mode settings will hide Restorative Appointments AND Confirmed Appointments!

Remember

Selecting any options outside of Genius Mode would disable the default Genius Mode settings but the options are available should you wish to further customize any of the RecallMax lists.

Clicking Enable Genius Mode will always revert your list settings back the suggested list filter settings!

Here now are the Genius Mode settings that have been automatically enabled for you in the rest of the applicable RecallMax lists…
