Hi everyone,
Lots of great new features for you including a new system message feature, enhanced list functionality, patient surveys via text and more!
Read on!
New System Message Centre
We want to keep you in the loop!
Communication is very important to us, especially when we have feature updates to tell you about. So now, staying current with those updates is even easier and more convenient!
Previously, you would be notified of a new system message via a red dot on the RecallMax icon at the bottom of the toolbar.
Now, when there is a new system message, you will be notified as soon as you log in via our new System Message Feature window!
This new message window only displays once and can be dismissed quickly using the Close button at the bottom.
You can still navigate to the RecallMax message list in the toolbar to view the current active messages or click the link to view previous release notes.
Patient New To List Enhancements
We’ve made our patient New to List behaviour more detailed and informative.
Previously, when a patient landed on a list and they were not able to be messaged, they would have no messaging icon next to their name.
Conversely, if a patient is sent a message, an envelope icon will appear next to their name in a list.
Now, when a patient lands on a list and they are able to be messaged, you will see a yellow alert triangle with an envelope next to their name in the list.
This indicates that the patient is both new to the list and no message was sent. This icon will persist until the patient gets their next message or the user message is manually resent.
If a patient is not able to be sent a message, (no email and no cell on file) only the yellow triangle (without an envelope) is displayed.
If you would prefer to not have this New to List yellow alert icon displayed, please call support and we can have it disabled for your practice.
But wait, there’s more…
You’ll also notice that the date of the last message sent is now visible by mousing over the messaging icon…
..and..
…the date and type of the last patient contact are both visible by mousing over the contact symbol next to a patient name.
Surveys via SMS (Text)
As you know, patients can receive surveys via email.
Now, patients will also receive those survey messages via text as well.
This is enabled automatically if email surveys are already being sent to patients but can be disabled on the Patient Preferences page.
Short Notice List Feature Enhancement
An integral part of using our Short Notice list feature to fill a last minute opening in your scheduler is the use of the Filter button to narrow your list of patients to only those that are within the range of the date and time of the opening you’re looking to fill.
Now, if for some reason you forget to use the Filter button and the Send Message button is clicked, the system will display a warning dialogue with the names of those patients that fall outside of the date and time of the opening you’re looking to fill,
This will allow you to:
a) cancel, then check the patients and/or enable the filter,
b) send only to the available patients or,
c) bypass the alert and send to all of the patients regardless of the warning.
The RecallMax Short Notice List is a great tool to easily fill those frustrating last minute openings and this enhancement will help you to better serve your patients by alerting you to those that might not be available at a certain time and date.
These new features have all been enabled for you automatically.
As always, contact us for more information on these or any of our other features.
